As I said in my previous post, the Long Haul tournament score will be a weighted average. Your last three games will be counted thrice each, and any games beyond ten will be scored for one quarter. Again, the player need not know any of this, I just offering it for transparency, and so you can give suggestions if you don't like it.

For Example:
After 2 weeks Joe Bob has played two games and gotten 66% and 78%. His score is 72%

Some weeks later, he has a 66%, 78%, 15%, 18%. His score is:
 (66 + (78 x 3) + (15 x 3) + (18 x 3)) / 7 = 29%

After that, he steps his game up to 66%, 78%, 15%, 18%, 89%, 80%, 100% and his score climbs to:
 (66 + 78 + 15 + 18 + (89 x 3) + (80 x 3) + (100 x 3)) / 13 = 75%

Much later, his score climbs even higher with 66%, 78%, 15%, 18%, 89%, 80%, 100%, 90%, 82%, 78%, 93%, 100%, 80%, 100%, becoming:
 ((66 + 78 + 15 + 18)/4 + 89 + 80 + 100 + 90 + 82 + 78 + 93 + (100 x 3) + (80 x 3) + (100 x 3) / 17 = 88%

After the end of the current league, I will be starting another league which will continue indefinitely. In this thread I will post my ideas for the campaign, and eventually, a consolidated set of rules. I welcome any feedback.

League Games
Each player can play up to one game per week, but you do not have to play. Also, if you play in a tournament or other Heavy Gear event, that game can be counted toward the league, provided you and your opponent agree. In order to count toward the league, the scenario must either be part of a Heavy Gear event, or generated as specified in L&L pgs. 36-48.

Scoring
After a game, determine success % as described at the bottom of page 48. Your campaign score is the weighted average of all your success ratings. Only the organizer will have to worry about the math but in case you are interested, I will make a separate post with the details. If both players get higher than "Disputed", or both players get lower than "Disputed", or both players get "Disputed", The game will be ruled a tie, and will not count toward either player's league score, though it will count for other purposes.

Factions/Regiments
Players must select a faction when beginning the league, they may also select a Regiment of Note, or may select a Regiment of Note at any time in the future. When playing a league game, the player must use his chosen faction, and may use the chosen Regiment if desired. Neither Faction nor Regiment, if selected, may be changed. If a player wishes, he may enter the league with another faction or regiment, but he will be treated as two separate players in this case.

Advancement
I'm still not sure how I will work league advancement, but I am leaning toward putting out special scenarios. If you secure a success in the scenario, you will have the ability to upgrade one of your veteran units in future games with experience rewards.

ALMOST Done Transcribing version 1.0 of the Pirates of Maculli Miniature Game.

Here's some snippets!

The Basics: 1d10 > or = STAT is SUCCESS. Damage: 1d10+MSCL > HRDY = 1 Damage. Attack is 1d10+SWBK > Enemy SWBK = Hit.

The Turn Order: Players Roll 1d10 At the start of Every Round. Whoever scores highest goes first. The Player then goes: Movement Turn, Order Turn, Combat Turn. The Second Player then does the same. When both Players complete their Turns, that is the End of the Round, and a new round will begin.

TERRAIN RULES:
Mast: Models within 1" of a Mast can opt to forfeit their Swings to grab a hanging rope/line/etc. and move its MSCL stat in inches, ignoring intervening terrain. If the model would land in Impassable Terrain, it must make a HRDY test or stop in base contact with the terrain piece (landing closest to the point where it began)  and be Prone until its next Turn.

Barrels: can provide Cover. A model can also Push the Barrel by ending its Move in Base Contact with the Barrel and forfeiting its Swings. The Barrel will then move directly away from the pushing Model 1d10+MSCL stat in Inches. Any model that is crossed by the Barrel's movement must make a SPRY Test. If it succeeds, the model is immediately moved 1" to the Left or Right (at the controlling players discretion) of where it was. If the test Fails, the model will become Prone until its next turn and takes a MUSCL 2 Damage roll.
Note: Any Barrel terrain piece that exceeds 2" X 2" in size (in any way!) cannot be pushed. That's simply too big and heavy!

More coming soon!

Stats: Muscle (MSCL), Spry (SPRY), Swashbuckle (SWBK), Hardy (HRDY), Swings (SWNG), Courage (CRGE), Blood (BLD), Orders (ORD)

Not at all, really. I wanted something in black and red, but I couldn't find any that were pleasing to the eye. And, having changed to this theme, I couldn't get it to change again. If you want, I'll make you a mod so you can see the admin tools, and I'll try to upload anything you need ASAP, just lemme know.

Most forums seem to have a thread like this, so I figured we should have one, only different. Here are the rules:
1. Photos must include you doing something awesome, or at the very least gaming.
2. Nothing dirty. I'm not worried about this at the time of this posting, but as more members show up, especially if we don't know them, it may be important

I guess those are the only rules.
